Join us in support of Mount Gretna School of Art’s Edible Landscape fundraising gala.

Farm-to-table Hors d'oeuvres, local beer and wine. Auction items. Tickets are $100.

Chef Kevin Brown of Trattoria Fratelli invents another original menu served on the grandest porch in Mt Gretna: 14 Muhlenberg Avenue, Mount Gretna, PA 17064

MENU (subject to change):

Vegan: 

  • hummus-stuffed peppadew peppers

  • cherry tomato castelvetrano olive skewers

  • crimini mushrooms stuffed with ratatouille

  • sage and black pepper caramelized chestnuts 

Protein & Dairy:

  • pastrami-cured salmon on cucumber

  • clams casino

  • ahi tuna poke in sesame tart

  • pepato cheese and grape

  • chilled grilled shrimp, cucumber yogurt

  • mozzarella and herb arancini, peach “ketchup”

  • grass-fed beef meatballs, spiced tomato sauce

This is the one and only opportunity to buy artwork from the students and a great chance to congratulate them on their hard work as they enter week 5 of their seven week intensive program.

“Preparing art for exhibit” with Michael Allen.

 Friday July 13th, 2-6pm

The paintings and drawings have been made and now its time to exhibit your accomplishments.  This workshop presents a variety of quick and inexpensive methods of preparing your work to look their best for exhibition.  Most materials and tools to be presented are available from your local home improvement center.  The workshop will include mounting works on paper, creating strainers for works on panel, finding and purchasing lumber suitable for frame stock, measuring, cutting, and building frame stock, finishing frame stock, and mounting paintings into the completed frame. Students are encouraged to bring finished works to discuss specific framing options.
