Mount Gretna School of Art Benefit Auction - 2017

The online bidding period ended April 1st.  However we are taking telephone bids today during the auction. please call 717-823-8367 if interested to let us know you intend to bid and we'll call you when the bidding starts.

Hosted by Lancaster Galleries34 N Water Street, Lancaster, PA. with auctioneering by John Hess Auction Service.

Reception and sale is April 2nd, 3 to 5:30pm, Auction starts at 4pm.  

Lancaster Galleries continues its new era of connectivity in support of the Mount Gretna School of Art (MGSoA) endeavor.  MGSoA thanks the gallery for hosting this event and John Hess Auction Service for making it sing.

*Along with this event MGSoA promotes the work of area artists that have benefitted from the school: Garrett Moore and Marisa Smith!.  At the auction, they will speak about their experience in the Intensive Program and its impact on their work.

This year art will be available for a "from the racks" in-person preview at Lancaster Galleries prior to the Auction from March 28th to April 1st (Tues thru Fri  10 to 5  and Sat 10 to 3) where viewers may enjoy the show at their leisure.

Commissions from this sale help support the school's efforts to provide need and merit based scholarships to deserving student, to put the school on strong fiscal footing as it enters its fifth summer session, and to develop spaces for our artists.

Telephone bidding is available for those who want to bid live but can't attend in person.  Please call 717-823-8367 and we'll do our best to set it up for you by taking your number and calling you during the event when it is time to bid.
